What is the name of your blog? Slumbering Alligator
Why did you choose that name? In the beginning, Slumbering Alligator was an art
installation collaboration between my friend (Enero J. Ray of
Pillbox79.com) and I. The
word slumbering came from her and alligator came from me. Enero went on to continue
with her video production work and I carried on with Slumbering Alligator.
What inspired you start blogging/video? My friends suggested I should start blogging. I liked
the idea of a place for my work to live.
How do you describe your style? Eclectic for sure! My home is filled with all kinds of quirky
pieces. I just buy and make things I love and somehow it all works together in its own
weird way.
What has been your biggest blogging / video achievement? I would have to say my in-home
holiday window displays,
Window Wonderland and
Witches in the Window.
Who has been the biggest influence on your crafting? My grandmother helped foster my
creativity at an early age. My love for creating, decorating and all things handmade can all
be traced back to her influence.
What is your favorite color? I really can’t choose one, but I do love greens.
What is your catchphrase? Honestly, I don’t think I have one.
If you could craft with anyone past or present who would you craft with and why? Definitely my grandma. I miss her so much.
What is your favorite downtime activity? Downtime? What’s that? The hustle is real! I do
love cuddling with my dog, gardening and drinks with friends.
