  • 3 different sized vases

instructions

  1. Basecoat the vases Sterling Silver, Pure Gold and Midnight blue.
  2. On the gold vase paint Emerald Green leaves using the #1 liner brush and a #8 flat brush.
  3. On the Midnight Blue vase, paint Pearl White flowers using the #1 liner brush.  Paint Pure Gold centers also using the liner brush and Emerald Green leaves using the #8 flat brush.  Add Pure Gold stems around the White flowers using the #2 liner brush.  Add little round Plum flowers to the Pure Gold Stems using the #1 liner brush.
  4. For the Sterling Silver vase paint Emerald Green Stems using the #2 liner brush.  Add Plum flowers to the stems using the #2 liner brush.  Add the Midnight Blue centers with #2 liner brush.
  5. Add Pure Gold dots around the flowers using the end of the paint brush.

Cool colors are all the colors on the Green and Blue side of the color wheel. Yellow, Yellow/Green, Green, Blue/Green, Blue, Blue/Purple, Purple are all cool colors. All colors on the color wheel can be both warm and cool except Orange.
Transparent colors are thinned with medium or water to create a wash or a glaze of color that you can see through to the underlying surface.
Warm colors are all the colors on the yellow and red side of the color wheel. Yellow, Yellow/Orange, Orange, Red Orange, Red, Red/Purple, Purple are all warm colors. All colors on the color wheel can be both warm and cool except Orange.
