Other Supplies

  • Upcycled dresser drawer with knobs
  • 16 nuts
  • 16 bolts
  • 4 caster wheels
  • Drill
  • Drill bit
  • Masking tape
  • Pencil

instructions

  1. Clean the drawer and remove any loose paint.
  2. Turn the drawer upside down.  Mark where the bolts will go for the wheels in each corner.  Drill holes for the bolts.  Attach the wheels with the nuts and bolts.
  3. Remove the hardware.
  4. Basecoat the drawer with Ocean.  Allow to dry.
  5. If there is not a molding piece in the center of the drawer, tape off a rectangle in the center and paint it with the Chalkboard paint. 
  6. Condition the chalkboard by rubbing the chalk all over the chalkboard and then wiping it off.  Now the chalkboard is ready to be written on with chalk.
