I am a 32-year-old transplant from Seattle living in Atlanta, Georgia. I was born from creative genes, so I'm carrying on the tradition. I have been knitting for 17 years, sewing for longer and decoupaging for just a few. I do all of these things on a daily basis, or at least as much as I can. Follow my crafting adventures on the ModPodgeRocks blog.
This cute bunny canvas can be made with any paint color, and is perfect for using up leftover tissue paper.

Instructions

  1. Paint your canvas with several coats of Parakeet. Let dry.
  2. Print out bunny clip art to fit your canvas – a bunny silhouette works perfectly for this purpose.
  3. Cut out the bunny silhouette and trace around the edge directly on top of the painted canvas.
  4. Cut several small squares of white tissue paper and set them aside.
  5. Take one square of tissue paper and wrap it around the eraser end of your pencil. Pour some Mod Podge out onto a palette and dip your tissue paper/pencil into the Mod Podge.
  6. Push the tissue paper down onto the canvas within the boundaries of the bunny silhouette. Pull up the pencil and it should leave the tissue paper behind.
  7. Keep adding tissue paper in the same way until the entire bunny silhouette is filled in.
  8. Glue pom poms where the nose, eye, and tail should go using craft glue.
  9. Let dry for 24 hours before hanging.
