FolkArt ® Home Decor™ Wax - White, 8 oz.

Use over FolkArt Home Decor Paint to create a whitewash finish. Waterbase, non-toxic. Can also use on raw wood. Apply with brush or a clean, lint-free cloth. Wipe back with cloth. For long lasting shine and protection, apply Clear Wax every 6 to 12 months, or as needed. Clean while wet with soap and water. Keep waxed surfaces free of moisture and heavy use for 7 days. Not for exterior use.

Other Supplies
Large faux pumpkin
Sandpaper
Painters tape
1” Flat brush
½” Stencil brush
Soft cloth

Instructions

  1. Basecoat the pumpkin with Rich Black.
  2. Paint the next coat with Castle.
  3. With the painters tape create the vertical lines of the spider web and stencil with Rich Black.
  4. Tape off the connecting lines of the spider web and stencil with Rich Black.
  5. Lightly sand the pumpkin to remove some of the first layer of paint, to create a distressed look.
  6. Apply a small amount of wax to a cloth and rub on the pumpkin. Buff the wax when dry.
