Instructions

Snowman Head:

  1. Load the 1/4" Scruffy with Wicker White add a touch of Asphaltum to one corner. Using an up and down pouncing motion, keep the Asphaltum to the outer edge; paint a round ball. Alternate colors: Wicker White with touch of Coastal Blue.
  2. Load the ¾" Scruffy with Wicker White and then add a touch of Engine Red to one corner. Using a pouncing motion, pounce the cheeks. Add more Engine Red to the brush and pounce the ear muffs.
  3. Mix Yellow Light with a tiny amount of Engine Red to make a orange color. Adjust the color by adding more of the Yellow Light or more of the Engine Red till you are happy with the orange color. Load the #2 Script Liner with this mixture and paint the carrot nose.
  4. Load the #2 Script Liner with Asphaltum, add details to the nose, paint the mouth eyes and eyebrows and then add a touch of Wicker White to highlight the eyes.
  5. Mix a little Yellow Light with Hauser Green Medium to make a lime green color, add a touch of Wicker White to soften the color. Load the #2 Script Liner with this color; paint the strap between the ear muffs.
Hat and Scarf: Add the hat or scarf after the facial details have been completed.
  1. Double load the #8 Flat with Engine Red and Wicker White, add a touch of Metallic Inca Gold to the Wicker White side using the flat side of the brush and keeping the Inca Gold/Wicker White side up; paint the hat.
  2. Load the ¾" Scruffy with Wicker White, add a touch of Asphaltum to the brush and using a pouncing motion, pounce the fur around the rim and then pounce a ball at the end of the hat.
  3. Load the #12 Flat with and mixture of Hauser Green Medium, Yellow Light and a touch of Wicker White, use the flat side of the brush to paint the scarf.
  4. Load the #2 Script Liner with Hauser Green Medium and add the stripes and fringe on the scarf.
