Tracing paper and pencil, Black graphite transfer paper, White gift bag (8- x 10-1/2-inches), 20 inches of 3/8-inch wide green grosgrain ribbon, 12 inches of 1/4-inch red satin ribbon, 8 inches of 1/4-inch red picot ribbon, 10 inches of 3/4-inch blue/green grosgrain polka dot ribbon, 10 inches of 3/4-inch green/blue polka dot grosgrain ribbon, Hot glue gun and glue sticks, Nos. 4; 8; and 12 flat shader brush, No. 4 round brush, No. 10/0 liner brush, No. 4 fabric round scrubber brush, Palette paper or foam plate brush, Paper towels, Water basin, Stylus

Instructions

FLOAT: To float, dip brush into water. Lay flat on paper towel and watch liquid leave. As soon as liquid leaves, lift brush. Dip one corner of brush into paint. Move brush back and forth onto palette being sure to not pick up excess paint into your brush. You’ll want to keep the paint on only one side of your brush. Float along edge of area.

STIPPLE: Tap brush up and down on surface.

DIP-DOTS: Dip into paint and dot onto surface.

Instructions: Trace pattern and line up on gift bag. Slip graphite between gift bag and pattern and use stylus or pencil to trace pattern onto gift bag.

ORNAMENT NO. 1 SNOWMAN

1. Paint each side Apple Orchard.
2. Float Midnight Garden on right and left side of ornament. Paint center section Lavender and float on each side Night Sky.
3. Using liner brush, add a Wicker White line between Apple Orchard and Lavender areas.
4. Paint top (hanger) of ornament Dove Gray. Let dry and paint Anniversary Silver over Dove Gray. Mix a tiny bit of Licorice into Anniversary Silver and float/shade on each side of hanger.
5. Using fabric scrubber, stipple Wicker White on snowman body. Stipple Dove Gray between head and body section along with left side of snowman. Stipple Apple Orchard ear muff on each side of head.
6. Using liner brush, paint ear muff headband Licorice, paint arms Licorice and add a touch of Wicker White on top of each arm for snow. 
7. Using stylus, dip into Licorice. Add two eyes and three buttons. 
8. Using liner brush, add Licorice eyebrows and mouth, paint Pumpkin nose. 
9. Using fabric scrubber, stipple Wicker White for ground. 
10. Using stylus, randomly dot snowflakes.

ORNAMENT NO. 2 WREATH 

1. Paint center Wicker White and remaining area True Blue.
2. Float Midnight on left and right side along edge of top.
3. Paint top (hanger) of ornament Dove Gray. Let dry and paint Anniversary Silver over Dove Gray. Mix a tiny bit of Licorice into Anniversary Silver and float/shade on each side of hanger.
4. Using fabric scrubber, stipple Apple Orchard and Midnight Garden onto wreath.
5. Using liner brush, paint ribbon Cardinal Red.
6. Using stylus, dot Cardinal Red berries in clusters of three.

ORNAMENT NO. 3 

1.  Paint top (hanger) of ornament Dove Gray. Let dry and paint Anniversary Silver over Dove Gray. Mix a tiny bit of Licorice into Anniversary Silver and float/shade on each side of hanger.
2. Paint sections as follows by starting with top section (shade/float both sides)—details will be added later: Cardinal Red (shade/float Black Cherry) Lavender (shade/float Night Sky) Apple Orchard (shade/float Midnight Garden) Wicker White (shade/float Dove Gray) Cardinal Red (shade/float Black Cherry) Lavender (shade/float Night Sky) Apple Orchard (shade/float Midnight Garden)
