instructions

  1. Attach your craft surface to your table using masking tape.
  2. Place your laser photo copy face down and line it up with your craft surface. Tape down the top edge of the paper on your table, hingeing the photo to your craft surface.
  3. Turn on the Mod Podge Photo Transfer Tool, set it just under the highest setting on the dial, and allow your tool to heat up for about 5 minutes.
  4. Touch the tip of the Photo Transfer Tool to a piece of scrap wood to ensure you won't scorch the back of your photo, and begin to swirl the tool over the back of the photo with medium pressure.
  5. Pick up a corner of the photo to check transfer, and continue until the image is fully transfered.
  6. Apply a coat of Mod Podge to seal the image.

Yes, etched areas can be embellished with painted FolkArt Acrylic designs.

No, direct mixing of FolkArt Flash Iridescent Topcoat with other paint products will compromise the color, finish and ability to shift colors.  However, you can create a sheen story by layering a matte acrylic paint over sections of Flash Iridescent Topcoat, or by applying the topcoat over sections of the surface rather than creating an overall finish.
Because FolkArt Gesso is created as a medium body product, it can be used to create slight textures to a project surface using a variety of texture tools.
