Create a beautiful tablescape using Mod Podge and supplies from Dollar
This project features these great brands:
At a Glance:
Candlesticks: Tape off half of the candle and apply a layer of Mod Podge onto the bottom half. Pour glitter onto the Mod Podged section until it is fully covered. Fabric Covered Plates: Cut a piece of fabric that fits the size of your plate. Apply a medium coat of Mod Podge onto the bottom of the glass plate. Slowly lay the cut piece of fabric onto the painted Mod Podge. Allow the Mod Podge and fabric to dry then add a sealing layer of Mod Podge to the back of the fabric and allow it to dry. Use scissors to cut off any excess fabric around the edges of the plate. Place Mats: Cut a piece of fabric that fits the size of the placemat. Apply a medium coat of Mod Podge onto the front of the placement. Slowly lay the cut piece of fabric onto the placemat. Use scissors to cut off any excess fabric around the edges of the plate. Pearl Pumpkins: Use a fine tip paint brush to add small dots of Mod Podge around the stem/top of the pumpkin. Place a pearl on top of each Mod Podge dot and allow them to dry in place. Paper Napkin Rings: Print a decorative pattern onto regular copy paper. (Or you can use decorative scrapbook paper.) Cut the paper design into thick strips. Apply a light coat of Mod Podge onto one end of the strip. Attach both ends of the strip together. Allow the Mod Podge to lock the ends in place, then slide your napkin into the paper ring. Decorate the rest of your table using faux greenery, flowers and vases and holders.
