Other Supplies
Flower molds, High-temp hot glue gun, Round paintbrush, Jewel glue, Rhinestones, Flat backed pearls, Wood framed mirror, Scissors, Foam paintbrush, Loose chunky glitter, E6000 glue
Instructions
- Create the flowers by heating a Mod Melt stick in a high-temp hot glue gun. Squeeze the melt into the flower molds. Allow to cool for 7 minutes. Remove the flowers from the mold. Make as many flowers as you wish.
- Paint the Mod Melts with a variety of colors. For this design, we used Aquamarine, Inca Gold, Pearl White and Baby Pink. When dry, top-coat the flowers with Hologram Extreme Glitter. Use jewel glue to attach a rhinestone or pearl to the flower centers.
- Paint the frame with Baby Pink. Trim a piece of music paper to fit the top of the frame. Apply Mod Podge to the top of the frame and to the back of the paper. Position the paper onto the frame, smooth with your fingers to remove any air bubbles. Allow to dry 15 minutes; top-coat with a layer of Mod Podge and sprinkle with loose glitter.
- Using E6000, glue the painted flowers to the frame of the mirror. Allow to dry flat.
Tip: Want super-shiny Mod Melts? Top-coat them with Mod Podge Super Gloss.
