Mod Podge Canning Jar Valentine Drinking Glasses

Faceted canning jars, ¾” stencil tape, Twine, 12” x 12” Valentine’s Day paper pad, Scissors, ½” flat brush, Craft knife, 3/8” drill bit, Hot glue, Paper straws

Instructions

1. Remove the insert from the lid. Drill a 3/8” hole in the middle for a straw. Cut out circles from paper and Mod Podge to the lid insert. Allow to dry. Add a top coat. Allow to dry and then brush on Red Sheer Color. Allow to dry. Use the craft knife to make an “x” where the drilled hole is and push paper inward. 
2. Tape off canning jars 2 ¼” from the bottom. Pour the Red Sheer Color all around the jar so that it will run downward. Allow color to run until it is covered completely. Allow to dry and then use the craft knife to score around the tape and remove the tape. 
3. Wrap the twine around the jar where the red begins using Mod Podge. Wrap around three times. Allow to dry and then brush with the Red Sheer Color.  
4. Tie a twine bow and glue to wrapped twine.
