Instructions

Begin by cleaning each glass, ceramic or metal candlestick with rubbing alcohol to prepare the surface for paint. Unfinished wood candlesticks do not require any cleaning.

Determine the color placement for each candlestick painting as desired: one color per candlestick or divide the candlestick into two or more colors.

Wrap stencil tape around the candlestick to dived painted bands of color.

For opaque coverage, each candlestick was painted in multiple applications allowing each one to thoroughly dry before painting the next coat.

If desired, for added contrast in sheen, paint one candlestick section with.
TIP
To prevent brush marks, paint using smooth strokes and light pressure with a brush that is not overloaded with paint.
