Other Supplies

Coffee pod organizer (plastic, metal or wood), Scrapbook paper, Scissors, Foam paintbrush, 400 Grade sandpaper, 0000 Grade steel wool. Wood letters, Ribbon, Hot glue

Instructions

  1. Cut the paper to fit the coffee organizer. You might need to make a template if you have an odd shaped organizer.
  2. Apply a thin coat of Mod Podge to the organizer and back of the paper. Position the paper on the organizer. Smooth with your fingers to remove any air-bubbles. Allow to dry for 20 min. Add 5 more layers of Mod Podge. Allow 20 min. dry time in between the layers. Each layer should be in a different direction.
  3. Wet a piece of 400 grade sand paper. Lightly sand the organizer. Wipe with a damp cloth and buff polish with 0000 grade steel wool.
  4. Paint the wood letters with Tickled Pink paint. Once dry, paint with two coats of Dark Brown paint. Once dry sand the edges to give the letters a rustic look.
  5. Attach a ribbon to the top and bottom of the organizer and the wood letters to the center of the organizer with hot glue.

Tip: When making a template, use low tack tape to apply scrap-paper to your item, trace with a pencil, remove the paper and cut on the traced lines.
