Glass hurricane candle holder, Tissue paper in orange green and black, ½” flat brush, Pencil, Scissors, ¼” Spouncer, 2 6.7” terra cotta saucers, 4.3” terra cotta pot, 2.75” terra cotta pot, 2 1½” x 5/8” wooden spools, 2 1-7/8” x 1¾” wooden candlesticks, 8.5” x 11” scrapbook paper, ¾” x 25” Halloween ribbon, 2/3 yard of black eyelash fringe trim, ¾” flat paintbrush, Industrial strength craft glue, Glue gun and glue

Instructions for Bowl

Remove all labels from glass and clean surface before painting.

Tear approximately one half of an orange tissue sheet into irregular pieces, leaving some pieces with straight edges to be aligned with top edge of glass container.

Working small sections at a time, apply a coat of Mod Podge to glass and place tissue pieces over medium, smoothing pieces as flat as possible; apply medium between overlaps and over tissue as needed. Continue until outside surface of glass is covered completely. Let dry.

Tear irregular leaf shapes in various lengths along straight edge of green tissue, leaving one edge of leaves straight to be aligned with top edge of glass container.

Use Mod Podge to attach leaf shapes around top of glass container, smoothing shapes flat.

Trace and cut face patterns from black tissue. Use Mod Podge to attach to container; let dry.

Apply a topcoat of Mod Podge over container; let dry.

Use either as a treat bowl or candle holder.
Instructions for Stand

Remove all labels from surfaces before painting.

Refer to photo when assembling pieces. Place saucer, rim down, on surface. Centered over base of saucer, place large pot, rim down; use craft adhesive to glue pieces together. Center wide end of candlestick over bottom of pot; glue in place and let set. Glue ends of two spools together; center and glue one end of connected spools over candlestick. Center and glue wide end of remaining candlestick over top of spool; let glue set. Over candlestick, glue bottom center of small pot (rim facing up); let glue set. Place glue on rim of pot and center bottom of remaining saucer (rim up) over pot; let all glue dry.

Use flat brush and Licorice to paint the stand; let dry.

Use Spouncer and Wicker White to paint dots on large pot above rim.

Use Spouncer handle dipped in Wicker White to paint dots on small pot below rim; let dry.

Measure and cut two 1½” x 4½” pieces of Halloween paper. Wrap one strip around each spool, adhering with Mod Podge.

Apply a coat of Mod Podge to stand; let dry.

Cut a 10” and 15” length of ribbon. Use glue gun to attach short length around center of small pot rim; trim excess and seal end. Glue remaining length of ribbon around center of large pot rim; trim excess and seal end.

Glue fringe around side rim of top saucer; trim excess and seal end.

Use as a lamp or candy dish.
