Instructions

  1. Create a Mod Melt flower by heating a Mod Melt stick in a high temp glue gun, fill a mold with the Mod Melt, allow to cool, remove from the mold and paint with FolkArt acrylic paint – Baby Pink. Make a small handful of roses.
  2. Paint the eggs with Bright Baby Pink and Soft Apple. Use two coats if necessary. Top-coat the eggs with Extreme Glitter. Cut a motif from a decorative napkin. Attach to the eggs with Mod Podge. Apply a coat of Mod Podge Gloss to the eggs, place the motif into the Mod Podge and top-coat with more Mod Podge. Allow to dry. Make a dozen different ones.
  3. Trim fabric to fit around the clay pot. Leave extra on the side, top and bottom for overlapping and tucking in. Apply Mod Podge fabric to the pot. Wrap the pot with the fabric. Add more Mod Podge Fabric to the overlapped seam. Add Mod Podge Fabric to the inside rim and bottom of the pot. Fold the extra fabric around the top over the lip. Fold the fabric around the bottom, under to the bottom of the pot. Allow to dry.
  4. Add silk ivy topiary to the pot. Hot glue a band of burlap to the back of the floral design. Hot glue clumps of nest shred to the design. Next attach the eggs, Mod Melt roses, silk flowers and butterflies to the design.
