Easter Bunny Craft for Kids

Other Supplies

  • Mod Podge Mod Melts, White #24887
  • Mod Podge Mod Mold, Flowers #24889
  • Styrofoam Balls 3 ½”; 1 ½”; 1”
  • Styrofoam Eggs 3”; 2 ½”
  • Aqua Blue Foam Sheet 2mm
  • Flat Brush ½”
  • Liner Brush #1
  • Fine Point Black Marker
  • Craft Knife
  • Glue
  • Water Basin
  • Foam Plates
  • Paper towels

Instructions

  1. Cut the smaller Styrofoam egg in half lengthwise. Paint all Styrofoam pieces except the 1” ball Cloudless.
  2. Using the liner brush, paint a teardrop shape on end of large egg and toe tips on the split egg with White. Let dry.
  3. Insert a white Mod Melt into the Mod Melter and fill the flower border on the Mod Mold. When cured, break the border apart into individual flowers. Paint the centers of the flowers Caterpillar.
  4. Glue the Styrofoam pieces together to create your bunny.
  5. Cut two ears from the foam sheet. Paint Cameo Pink sections on each ear.
  6. Cut two slits in head and insert the ears with glue.
  7. Glue eyes and nose to head. Draw eyebrows and mouth with marker.
  8. Glue a piece of baker’s twine around the neck of the bunny.
  9. Attach individual flowers onto twine with glue.
  10. Dry brush pink cheeks onto head.
