Instructions

1. Tape off 4½" from the bottom of the tote. Basecoat with Rusted Pipe. Once the paint is dry mix a small amount of Black to the Rusted Pipe and lightly distressed the painted section of the tote bag.
2. Tape off 1½" stripes with the painters tape on the remainder of the tote bag. Paint with Grey Mist.
3. Stencil the floral motif on the striped section in Black.
4. Cut the leather strip in half and round the cut edges. Lightly distress the leather piece with Rusted Pipe and Black.
5. Stencil "AND" in Black. Hand-letter "so the adventure" in Black, and stencil "BEGINS" in black.
6. Using the painters tape, gently stick the tape to the tag to create a more distressed look.
7. Punch a hole in the corner of the tag and attach to the handle with the ball chain hardware.
