Clay pot, Paintbrushes, Washi tape, Scissors
Instructions
- Paint the clay pot with White Adirondack. This will just prime the pot so the terracotta color will not show through. Use two coats.
- Cut the washi tape into small squares. Each one should be slightly different in shape and size.
- Starting at the top, apply washi tape to the pot. Overlap some pieces. Add extra pieces around the rim of the pot. Press with your finger to remove any air-bubbles. Continue adding more washi tape until the entire pot is covered.
- Top-coat with two layers of Dishwasher Safe Mod Podge. Allow for dry time in between coats. Cure as directed on the bottle instructions.
PROJECT TIP: Use multiple colors and patterns of washi tape to create a colorful design or go monochromatic by just using one color.
