Canvas fabric, Green burlap fabric, Red Cotton fabric, Wood strips, Hemp cording
Determine what you want to spell on your banner. Once you have your letter and spaces count you will need to cut a tree for each. Cut a simple tree shape from the canvas fabric. Cut the same shape (a bit smaller) from the burlap fabric. Glue the pieces together with Fabric Mod Podge. You will need a thick coat.
Cut the letter shapes from the red fabric. Apply Fabric Mod Podge to the back and glue them to the center of the tree shape. Allow for the trees to dry for 3 hours.
Using the Mod Melter, attach the wood strips to the back so they represent a tree trunk. Attach the hemp cord along the top edge.
PROJECT TIP: Attach iron-on interfacing to the back of the "letter" fabric to create a stiffer fabric. This will make cutting and gluing easier.
