Glass cleaner, Paper towels, 3/4" masking tape, Glass plates and drinking glass
Instructions
Glass
1. Wash and dry all glassware before painting.
2. Mask off top section of glass.
3. Paint entire bottom section Licorice and let dry completely.
4. Use the Painting Stencil to paint the design element in Silver on the front of the glass.
5. Paint with Glitter over the design. You'll need three coats of glitter, waiting for each coat to dry before adding another.
6. Use the end of a paint brush, dipped in appropriate colors, to paint the dots as shown in photo.
7. Let dry and cure for 21 days before using.
Large Plate:
1. Wash and dry all glassware before painting.
2. Use the painting stencil as a template and trace designs as needed on tracing paper.
3. On top of the plate, tape patterns, right side down, into place. Use photo for placement. Turn plate over.
4. Paint stencil design elements in Wicker white on bottom side of the plate. Let dry completely.
5. Using the 1/4" grout tape, mask off square in center and two lines to be painted later with Silver glitter.
6. with a large flat brush, paint the center of the plate Licorice. Paint one side of the design Parisian Pink, and the other side vivid Orange. Remove tape immediately. You'll need to apply several coats of pink and orange, so let them dry completely between coats.
7. Using a very small flat brush, apply three coats of Folk Art Silver Glitter to the lines you had taped off. Let paint dry completely between coats.
8. Apply three coats of Silver Sterling over Glitter, following the same rule.
9. Let dry and sit 21 days to cure.
Small Plate
1. Wash and dry all glassware before painting.
2. Use the painting stencil as a template and trace design elements onto tracing paper.
3. Cut out designs and tape to top side of plate, right side down, as needed.
4. Use a small round brush to paint Wicker White highlights on leaves and flower centers. Let dry.
5. Fill in flowers and leaves using the photo for color placement. Let dry completely.
6. Use a large flat brush to paint the entire back surface of the plate with Folk Art Silver Glitter. You'll need to let the paint dry completely and apply at least two more coats.
7. Repeat above step using the Metallic Silver Paint.
8. Let dry and cure for 21 days before using.
