Painters tape

instructions

Diagonally place a strip of painters tape across the wood surface.
Paint each half of the surface using your choice of two different FolkArt Acrylic Colors.
Paint the edges of the surface gold using Treasure Gold paint
Paint a gold strip directly over the diagonal line where the two paint colors meet.
Paint the edges of the “Blessed” wood letters using Treasure Gold paint.
Paint the “Blessed”wood letters using your choice of FolkArt Acrylic Colors.
Using scrapbook paper, cut out the letters needed to spell the word “Mama”.
Apply the “Blessed” wood letter onto the surface using hot glue.
Use Mod Podge to apply the paper letters onto the surface directly under the wood letter.

What are cool colors?

Cool colors are all the colors on the Green and Blue side of the color wheel. Yellow, Yellow/Green, Green, Blue/Green, Blue, Blue/Purple, Purple are all cool colors. All colors on the color wheel can be both warm and cool except Orange.

What are transparent colors?

Transparent colors are thinned with medium or water to create a wash or a glaze of color that you can see through to the underlying surface.

What are warm colors?

Warm colors are all the colors on the yellow and red side of the color wheel. Yellow, Yellow/Orange, Orange, Red Orange, Red, Red/Purple, Purple are all warm colors. All colors on the color wheel can be both warm and cool except Orange.
