Large wood block, Unfinished wood shape- Owl, 3 pieces coordinating scrapbook papers, # 4 Flat brush, #2 Liner brush
Instructions
- Basecoat block and Owl with Wicker White, let dry. Sand lightly.
- Paint Owl as shown-body green, let dry.
- Paint block with Sky Blue, let dry. Sand lightly to create distressed finish
- Using wood shape as a pattern, cut papers to desired size to cover areas shown. Apply papers following general directions on Mod Podge. Let dry.
- Apply large paper to cover sides of block with Modpodge. Let dry. I used 2 different papers.
- Paint face on owl with colors shown. Let dry.
- Glue Owl as shown.
- Using Licorice and liner brush add- be Whoo you are to side of block.
- Finish with thin coat of Modpodge, let dry.
