Oval basswood plaque, Foam paintbrush, Loose bristle paintbrush – 1” wide, Mod podge matte, Paper embellishments, Hot glue gun and sticks, Glittered wood Fleur-de-Lis, Rhinestones
Instructions
1. Paint one coat of Light Blue over the entire plaque. Allow to dry. Paint one coat of crackle medium over the Light Blue paint. Allow to dry. Working quickly, paint Seashell Pink over the dried crackle medium.
2. Using a loose bristle brush, randomly paint around the edges of the plaque with the Royal Gold paint. Allow to dry.
3. Coat the back of the paper embellishments with Mod Podge and secure to the front of the plaque. Use your fingers to press out any air bubbles. Top coat with a layer of Mod Podge to seal the design.
4. Using hot glue and Hot Glue Gun Helpers, attach the glittered Fleur-de-Lis and rhinestones to the plaque.
