Other Supplies
2 Disposable mixing bowls and spoons
Water
Plaster of Paris
6 Plastic cups
Silicone muffin pan

Instructions

  1. Combine 1¾ cups of water with 2 cups of Plaster of Paris. Stir gently so you don’t create air bubbles. Mix until it looks and feels like pancake batter.
  2. Divide the mixture equally across the 6 plastic cups.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon of paint to each cup and mix well. You will use a different color for each cup.
  4. Pour the colored mixtures into a silicone muffin mold. One color in each spot. Tap the pan to settle the mixture. Allow to dry. Could take two days. Pop out and get ready to draw.
  • TIP: Wrap it up! Homemade sidewalk chalk makes a great gift. Add a few pieces to a cello bag, tie a bow and you have a very special gift for a budding artist.
