Instructions

  1. Working on the flat (backside) of one teardrop and two oval Podgeable Facet Shapes apply a thin coat of Mod Podge Super Gloss.  Sprinkle gold glitter over the Mod Podge.  Tap off the excess and allow to dry. 
  2. Apply a second coat of glitter in the same fashion as step 1.
  3. Note the bead count is for an 18” necklace.  Add more or less beads for a different length.  Cut a 24” piece of beading wire.  Attach a half of the clasp to one end of the beading wire.
  4. Threading order: 3 black beads, 3 pink pearls, 1 black bead, 5 pink pearls, 1 black bead, 1 pink crystal, 1 black bead, 3 pink pearls, 1 black bead, 1 pink crystal, 1 black bead, 1 gold spacer, 3 pink pearls, 1 gold spacer, 1 black bead, 1 pink pearl, 1 pink crystal, 1 pink pearl, 1 black bead, 1 pink pearl, 1 pink crystal, 1 pink pearl, 2 black beads, 1 pink pearl, 1 gold spacer, 1 pink pearl, 1 gold spacer, 1 pink pearl, 1 black bead.  This is the half-way point of the necklace.  Reverse the beading order and bead the rest of the wire.  Attach the other clasp to the end of the wire.
  5. Using jump rings attach the glittered Podgeable shapes to the necklace in between the double black beads near the center.  Use the photo as a reference guide.

PROJECT TIP: Super Gloss Mod Podge is great for glittering because it dries very shiny so it won’t dull your glitter.
