Cross Stitch Wedding Pillow

We make stitching easy! Material is conveniently stamped with design in washable blue ink. Kit also includes: 100% cotton embroidery floss, needle and easy-to-follow instructions.

Other Supplies
½ yd. Cotton fabric of choice
1 3/8 yd. x 1 ½" Ruffled lace
Sewing machine
Sewing needle



1.  Follow kit instructions to cross stitch panel.

2.  Cut panel measuring 8" w x 10 ½" h. Cut from cotton fabric one 9 3/4" w x 12 1/4" h for pillow back.  Also, cut two 1 ½” w x 8” h and two 1 ½”w x 12 ¼”h strips from cotton fabric.

3.  Sew with sewing machine 8" strips along top and bottom of panel with 1/4" seams, followed by 12 1/4" strips along sides. Press seams towards outside edges.

4.  Pin lace along raw edges with ruffled edge facing inside of pillow front.  Sew 1/4" from raw edges slightly gathering at corners and overlap ends as desired.

5.  Sew panel and back, right sides together, leaving opening for turning. Turn right side out, stuff pillow and hand stitch opening closed.
