Deck the Halls with Mod Podge Holiday DIYs

Deck the Halls with Mod Podge Holiday DIYs

Deck the halls with lots of Mod Podge… fa la la la la… la la la la. Ok, so maybe that’s not exactly how the song goes, but that’s what we’ve been singing around the studio! Mod Podge is truly the gift that keeps on giving – AND it can help you make other gifts. We have so much love for Mod Podge that we decided to round up some of our favorite holiday gift ideas made possible by Mod Podge magic.

If you know me at all, you know that I don’t always do things the traditional way. Especially when it comes to holidays. For me, the holiday season is a multicolored one – full of pinks and blues and yellows and oranges – not just reds and greens! Here are some quick and colorful crafts you and your little elves can easily do together in your at-home workshop. (My workshop is my kitchen!)

This is the perfect gift for anyone that loves to cook! We love how the fabric in this tutorial from Alice and Lois really makes these simple, wooden utensils extra special.

Glitter will always be my favorite color. Because it’s all the colors! I can’t wait to make these Confetti Bags via Mod Podge Rocks with my girls to give out to all their friends. The beauty of these is that they can be used for anybody and for any occasion. Shoot, who needs an occasion?! Every day is National Glitter Day in my book… although the holidays do seem extra sparkly :)

Party like it’s 1985! These refreshingly retro 8-bit Holiday Ornaments via Our Nerd Home are a serious blast from the past. They’re bold, super simple to make and Mod Podge Dimensional Magic make them pop with a sleek, shiny finish. I already know these are going to be my husband’s new favorite ornaments.

Here’s another easy DIY giftwrapping idea that you can whip up in literally seconds! Polka Dot Tissue Paper Gift Wrap via Mod Podge Rocks packs a big punch with little effort and is the perfect project to help tiny hands get in on the wrapping action. Mix, match, overlap, and have fun with the colors! (The more the better, in my opinion!)

Show some home state pride with these Celebrate Your State Ornaments via Silly Eagle Books. Kids will love swirling paints as they learn about where they live. It’s always great to make one for yourself, but it could be extra special to make one for a loved one who’s far away for the holidays! How about making new ones each year, eventually working your way up to all 50? Ooh all this sugar is giving me so many ideas!

Gift this custom tree topper! There are several different ways to personalize this initial tree topper ornament from Brit + Co - no matter which you choose, its guaranteed to make an impression!

One last project from Mod Podge Rocks (and as you can tell by all these crazy cool ideas, it really does rock!) Silhouette Gift Tags are a creative way to personalize gifts and to add a little extra pizzazz to wrapping. They can also be gifts in and of themselves! After the holidays, you can display them on a wall, hang them from a doorknob, or just prop them on a desk as special little reminders of those special little someones :)
