The Ultimate DIY Planner with Mod Podge!

The Ultimate DIY Planner with Mod Podge!

We’ve caught planner mania here at Plaid! A pretty planner makes everything more doable and fun, too, if you ask us. From errands to lunch dates, housing it all in a personality-packed planner is the way to go. Our team conjured up creative ways to use Mod Podge to truly personalize a planner using scrapbook papers and Mod Melts and Molds to add your own touch to your daily go-to place!

Here’s how we made this one:

Recollections Planner Cover
Designer: Kyla Beals
Skill Level: 2
Time to complete: 15 mins

Supplies:

Instructions:

1. Pick two coordinating papers from the paper pad.
a. Cut one paper into a 7.125”x 1.25” strip.
b. Using the punch, punch a piece out of the other paper.
2. Apply Ultra Matte Chalk Mod Podge to the back of both pieces of paper.
3. Place each piece Mod Podge side down on the cover.
a. Place strip on the far left side near the spine of the cover.
b. Place the punched paper in the lover right-hand corner of the cover
4. Place glitter alphabet stickers on the scallop punch. The example used two letters to form a monogram.

For the other elements, use the Mod Podge Mod Melter, Mod Molds and Melts to make more embellishments, and shop the Mod Podge family of formulas
