Plaid Creators - Martha Stewart Paint and Stencil Challenge

Plaid Creators - Martha Stewart Paint and Stencil Challenge

We challenged our creators this month to create something with the new Martha Stewart Paint and Stencils. The new line is available exclusively at Michaels. Many of the creators focused on kids projects and had their kids make or help make the projects.

Martha Stewart Multi-Surface Acrylic Paint is non-toxic, and the perfect paint for all kinds of family crafts and school projects. The bright, cheerful palette has over 80 colors to choose from in six different finishes: satin, glitter, pearl, metallic, neon, and glow-in-the-dark. You can use it on any surface including wood, terracotta, ceramic, glass and tin. Plus, it pairs perfectly with the new Martha Stewart Family Crafting stencils and tools, as you’ll see in our creator projects.

Erin Spain - DIY Rolling Toy Bin - We needed a better (i.e. less ugly) solution. I decided to build a rolling wooden toy bin, and the boys helped me make it over with some new cool products from Martha Stewart.

Flamingo Toes - Stenciled Neighborhood Embroidery Hoop Art Gallery -  I used the new Martha Stewart Adhesive stencils and Multi-Surface paints and I love how the bright colors work so well together for these little houses.

Amy Latta - Out of this World Kids' Room Decor with Martha Stewart Paints - It was time now to create a few new pieces of decor that express Scout's personality and favorite things. He was beyond eager to jump right in and make some of it himself, and we both had a blast working on these a couple of projects that are “out of this world!”

Pretty Life Girls - DIY Reversible Play Rug - We were inspired to make this bright and fun rug not only because of the inevitability of winter BUT because of the 168 excellent new additions to the Martha Stewart line

Made to be a Momma - Princess Castle Toddler Desk  -  I found this adorable toddler desk and knew I needed to add a princess element to it. The multi-colored chairs add a fun pop of color.

Positively Splendid - DIY Picture Fram Earring Organizer - I love to find fun craft projects to make with my daughter now that she is officially a tween. We’ve been looking for a way to organize her earrings in a functional but cute way, so we came up with the idea together to turn a hinged picture frame and some cross-stitch fabric into an earring organizer for her room.

Petticoat Junktion - Colorful Stenciled Wood Coasters - This project should convince you guys that you can stencil. These stenciled wood coasters are a breeze to make and the stenciled design……perfection as always. Not that I’m patting myself on the back or anything.

The Cards We Drew - Kids Stenciled Dog Tablecloth - this was a fun little project I did for my daughter’s coloring table this week using an inexpensive $1 tablecloth, a super cute Martha Stewart stencil (from her new line out at Michaels), and new Martha Stewart Acrylic paints! The whole thing took no time at all to make and can be customized to your kid's favorite colors!!

Find the new Martha Stewart Paint, Stencils, and tools at your local Michaels store.
