Along with our 40th anniversary year, we launched a partnership with some of the best and brightest minds in making with our inaugural group of Plaid Creators! The group visited us at Plaid HQ for a few days of fun, food, and of course… crafting! Hailing from all across the country, we were thrilled to have them join us to spend time in our design studio and with our team.
Scroll down to come along with them to get your own insider look at Plaid, meet the Plaid Creators and hear about their favorite new products making their debut later this year!

In addition to meeting everyone, it was so fun seeing everyone's personality come through as they crafted!
Check out just a few of the projects they made:
They were the first to get hands on time with the new FolkArt Painted Finishes line debuting next month, and they created these fun fairy garden houses using Moss, Rust, Barnwood and Concrete finishes.
FolkArt Ultra Dye is another new product launching soon. The bold, vibrant color brushes on to wood and natural fibers, and they had a blast experimenting with different techniques to make frames.
FolkArt Milk Paint gives a gorgeous flat finish and looked beautiful when used on raw wood jewelry boxes.
Another favorite was making these pretty bowls using Martha Stewart Crafts® Gilding Sheets and Acrylic Craft Paint.
Watch for special projects from the Plaid Creators all year long on our blog, and be sure to visit each of them for more inspiration!
