Black and White Mother and Daughter Mod Podge Shoes

I have always loved to draw and paint but I didn't really throw myself into it until after I had my first son.  I wanted to be a stay at home mom and at the same time be able to decorate the new home we had just purchased. I taught myself how to use power tools and began to build furniture which I would paint and sometimes sell.  What was once a hobby became a new part-time career which I feel so blessed to be able to do.
Create matching shoes for you and your daughter for a special occasion such as a wedding or a party.

Instructions

  1. There are three layers to the napkin. Peel apart each napkin into the three layers. Cut the middle layer into square. I did about an inch in general but sometimes it may call for a smaller size or even a rectangular shape.
  2. Glue the squares with the Mod Podge Matte to the entire shoe. Allow to dry.
  3. Cut around each design such as a grouping of flowers from the printed layer of the napkin. Glue this to the shoe. Continue all around shoe. Allow to dry completely.
  4. Apply Sparkle Mod Podge to the top of each shoe. The more you add the more sparkles you will get.
  5. For the ballet flat, tie a bow and glue it to the shoe with craft glue.
    1. Tip: When gluing the pieces to shoe, try picking up each square with your brush and apply to shoe. This will keep you hands from getting sticky.
