Beach Cornice Board
By: Cassie Dawson
Category: Craft Painting
Products Used:
Apple Barrel Paint
Stencils or Stamps

This is a cornice board made for my daughter's window to match her room's beach decor. It is made using a sheet of styrofoam cut with a wave pattern and painted to look like sand. The texture of the styrofoam really lends to the sand look. Seashell stencils were used to add some color and detail. The styrofoam was cut to fit the inside of the window so best of all there was no hardware needed to "install" this. It simply fit right into the window and has easily stayed in place.
