Apron String Patchwork Pumpkin - TYP
By: Faith Schuster
Category: Decoupage
Products Used:
Apple Barrel Paint
Mod Podge

Recently I was lucky enough to buy a large collection of vintage aprons at an estate sale. Many of the aprons were slightly damaged and some were already cut up for quilting projects, but there were tons of apron strings in excellent condition. Somehow I knew that they would be just perfect for making a pastel pumpkin to decorate my toddler daughters room for Halloween.

So I used Mod Podge Gloss Luster to decoupage the apron strings onto a faux pumpkin. Then I coated it with Sparkle Mod Podge to give it a just a hint of festive, glittery goodness. The stem is painted with Apple Barrel Paint.
