Other Supplies
Clipboard
Blue painter's tape
Foam brush
Piece of soft chalk
Scrapbook paper – all over prints work best
Scissors
Silk flower
Large rhinestone
Hot glue gun
Decorative trim

Instructions

  1. Tape off a rectangle on the front of the clipboard. Using a foam paintbrush and working in one direction, paint one coat of the Black Chalkboard Paint. Allow the paint to dry and then paint a second coat going in the opposite direction. Paint a third coat if needed. Once the paint is dry, condition the chalkboard by rubbing a piece of chalk on the board.
  2. Trim the scrapbook paper to fit around the clipboard. You may need to piece the paper together around the clip. Coat each piece of the paper with Mod Podge, position the papers onto the clipboard and smooth out any air bubbles.
  3. Remove the petals from the stem of a silk flower discarding the stem and plastic base. Hot glue the petals together in the center. Add a large pool of Glitter Gold in the center of the flower. Sink a large rhinestone into the Glitter Gold. Use the tip of the Glitter Gold bottle to spread the paint around the gem. Allow the paint to dry.
  4. Hot glue the flower to the clip, the trim around the backside of the clipboard and chip board letters to the front.
