  • Plaid ® Hot Glue Gun Helpers
  • FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Bright Baby Pink, 2 oz.
  • FolkArt ® Artists Pigments™ - Warm White, 2 oz.
  • FolkArt ® Mediums - Crackle Medium, 2 oz.
  • Mod Podge ® Matte, 8 oz.

Other Supplies
Paper mache cone tree
Foam paintbrush
Hot glue
Burlap strips
Glitter Snowflakes
Rhinestones

Instructions

  1. Paint the cone with the white paint. Allow to dry 1 hour. Once dry apply a coat of crackle medium. Allow the crackle medium to dry for at least 4 hours in order for the crackle finish to work properly.

  2. Working quickly and with one coat only, topcoat the cone with the pink paint. The crackle will begin almost immediately. Allow to dry for 1 hour.

  3. Gather the burlap strips around the base of the tree. Hot glue to the base. Hot glue rhinestones and snowflakes to the tree.

  4. Create a topper by hot gluing a gathered strip of burlap to a snowflake. Hot glue a small snowflake in the center.
