Supplies

PLAID Supplies
  • Plaid ® Hot Glue Gun Helpers
  • FolkArt ® Metallics - Aquamarine, 2 oz.
  • Mod Podge ® Gloss, 8 oz.

Other Supplies
Foam paintbrush
12x12 canvas
12 x 12 scrapbook paper
Paper embellishments
Sewing pattern paper
Hot glue and gun
Grosgrain ribbon 1.5 yards

Instructions

1. Paint the canvas with Metallic Aquamarine paint. You will only need one coat of paint. Allow to dry.

2. Coat the back and front of the 12 X 12 scrapbook paper with Mod Podge, position on the canvas, and smooth any air bubbles with your fingers. Using the paintbrush, smooth your brush strokes.

3. Layer additional paper embellishments onto the canvas using Mod Podge. Allow to dry.

4. Using a Hot Glue Gun Helpers Finger Cap and hot glue, attach ribbon around the outer edge of the canvas.
