28561 - Simply ® Stencils - Stars & Bars
34028 - Stencil Decor ® Brushes - Stencil Brush, 1/4"
437 - FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Lipstick Red, 2 oz.
641 - FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Brilliant Blue, 2 oz.
794 - FolkArt ® Mediums - Textile Medium, 2 oz.


2 Pairs plain white canvas tennis shoes
1/2" paint brush


USA Tennis Shoes

  1. Mix Textile Medium with FolkArt colors.
  2. Paint toe section Lipstick Red.
  3. Paint heel section Brilliant Blue. Let dry.
  4. Use stencil to add USA in Brilliant Blue to the side sections. Let dry 24 hours.
  5. Heat set by placing in dryer for 30 minutes.

Stars Tennis Shoes

  1. Mix Textile Medium with FolkArt colors.
  2. Paint toe and heel sections Brilliant Blue. Let dry.
  3. Stencil stars on toe and heel sections with Wicker White. Let dry.
  4. use Lipstick Red to paint vertical stripes on the sides. Let dry.
  5. Heat set by placing in dryer for 30 minutes.
