1. Clean surface.
   
2. Trace and transfer pattern.
   
3. Undercoat areas to be painted with Glass & Tile Medium. Let dry.
   
4. Optional: Practice painting on Reusable Teaching Guides.
   

1. Double load # 12 flat with Berry Wine and Napthol Crimson. Paint poinsettia petals. (See Poinsettia and Magnolia Technique Workshop )
   
2. Double load #12 flat with Yellow] Ochre and Sunflower. Paint pears with Yellow Ochre to the outer edge. (See Fruit Technique Workshop.)
   
3. Double load # 12 flat with Burnt Umber and Wicker White. Paint branches,using the chisel edge of brush.
   
4. Load #12 flat with Green Forest. Paint lighter leaves. Pick up a small amount of Burnt Umber. Paint darker leaves
   
5. Double load #6 flat with Berry Wine and Napthol Crimson. Paint cherries with Berry Wine to outer edge. (See Fruit Technique Workshop.)
   
6. Double load # 12 flat with Green Forest and Sunflower. Paint pine needles using chisel edge of brush.
   
7. Using handle end of #12 flat brrush loaded with Green Forest, make dots at center of each poinsettia flower and on groups of dots throughout the design. Wipe off handle of brush.
   
8. Load handle end of # 12 flat with School Bus Yellow .Dot centers of flowers and groups of dots, overlapping Green Forest dots. Wipe off handle of brush. Let dry completely.
   
9. Load #6 flat with Inca Gold. Highlight cherries.
   
10. Load #2 script liner with Inca Gold. Highlight pine needles.
    

FINISH

Apply another coat of Glass & Tile Medium over painted designs. Let cure two weeks.
