Gingerbread Stockings

	1171 - FolkArt � One Stroke� Brushes - Brush Sets - Basic
	434 - FolkArt � Acrylic Colors - Berry Wine, 2 oz.
	435 - FolkArt � Artists Pigments� - Napthol Crimson, 2 oz.
	448 - FolkArt � Acrylic Colors - Green Forest, 2 oz.
	795 - FolkArt � Mediums - Textile Medium, 4 oz.
	901 - FolkArt � Acrylic Colors - Wicker White, 2 oz.
	945 - FolkArt � Acrylic Colors - Maple Syrup, 2 oz.

	White fabric stockings - 13" x 9"
	Tracing paper & pencil Transfer paper & stylus

Prepare Surface:

Wash and dry stockings.
Press with a warm iron.
Trace pattern from book and transfer to fabric. Refer to photo for placement.

Paint the Design:
Refer to Ornaments, Gingerbread Cookies & Candy Technique Workshop for painting design.

Load #12 flat with Maple Syrup to paint gingerbread men. Refer to Worksheet.
Double load #12 flat with Wicker White and Maple Syrup to paint candy canes and peppermints.
Double load # 12 flat with Crimson and Berry Wine to paint details on candy.
Double load # 12 flat with Green Forest and Wicker White and use chisel edge to paint pine needles. Make short strokes, leading with Wicker White.
Load #2 script liner with Maple Syrup to paint string ribbon on garland.
Paint letters at top of stockings with Crimson using #12 flat.
Allow all paint to dry.
