Dress (Sleeves & Hem):

FINISH:
- When dry, apply an even coat of varnish to both wood cutouts. Let dry.
- Apply a thin coat of antiquing to both cutouts. Also use the antiquing to stain backs and rims of wood. Let dry.
- Draw on linework detail including remaining facial features and stitch lines as shown on pattern with the black pen.
- Use old toothbrush to spatter both wood cutouts with Licorice.
Assemble
- Hot-glue wings in place on back of angel. (Refer to photo of project.)
- Create halo with a 15” length of 30-ga. wire, making a stem on circle by bending twisted wire ends downward. Hot-glue stem to back of angel so halo is around top of her head.
- Wire the wreath onto angel through drilled holes at her hands. Hot-glue greenery, berries, and the star cutout to the wreath. (Refer to photo of project.)
- Glue side of the napkin ring in place on back of tree.
To Use: Push first light at end of light strand through hole in angel from back so that it shines through center of wreath. Slide angel over tree top. Continue placing lights around tree.
