3" royal blue glass ball ornament |

#1 scroller brush |

PREPARATION:
- Remove brass hanger and set aside.
- Apply the pattern.
PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Gingerbread children:
- Basecoat each figure with Maple Syrup. Let dry, and repeat.
- Shade the left side of each gingerbread figure with a float of Burnt Umber. Let dry, and repeat.
- Highlight the right side of each character first with Honeycomb and then with a float of Champagne.
- Float Burnt Umber around each eye. Let dry. Highlight the eyes with a float of Warm White along the right side.
Hats:
- Hat #1: Basecoat with two coats of Honeycomb. Shade the left side with a float of Maple Syrup.
- Hat #2: Basecoat with two coats of Bayberry. Shade the left side with a float of Hauser Green Dark.
- Hat #3: Basecoat with two coats of Poppy Red. Shade the left side with a float of Alizarin Crimson.
- Hat #4: Basecoat with two coats of Sky Blue. Shade the left side with a float of Prussian Blue.
- Hat #5: Basecoat with two coats of Heather. Shade the left side with a float of Dioxazine Purple.
- Highlight all hats on the right side with a float of Honeycomb.
- Add a stroke of Champagne to the top of each hat for a pom-pom, and another on the right side of the hats for a highlight.
Ribbon accent:
- Follow the general instructions for creating paper accents. Basecoat the paper with two coats of Maple Syrup and let dry.
- Cut out four 1/4" strips approximately 2-1/2" long each.
- Speckle each strip with Warm White.
- Spray with matte Sealer and set aside.
FINISH:
- Speckle the ornament with Warm White.
- Refer to the photo for ribbon placement. Glue only the tips of each paper ribbon to the throat of the ornament.
- Seal according to general instructions.
