1. Clean surface.

2. Dampen household sponge. Dip in Wicker White and Sterling Blue. Sponge on background, occasionally picking up a touch of Plum Chiffon. Allow to dry.

3. Trace and transfer pattern.
   

Paint the Design:

Leaves & Flowers:

1. Load ¾” flat with Thicket and Sunflower. Leading with Sunflower on chisel edge, paint blades of greenery. See Flower Worksheet #2.

2. Load #6 flat with Sunflower and Wicker White. Paint “C” stroke flowers. See Flowers Worksheet #2.

3. Load #6 flat with Wicker White, Sterling Blue and a touch of Night Sky. With Night Sky to outer edge, paint five petal flowers. Dot centers with School Bus Yellow. See Flower & Leaf Worksheet #2.

4. Load #6 flat with Floating Medium and Thicket. Paint small leaves around blue flowers. See Flower & Leaf Worksheet #2.

5. Load #2 script liner with inky Thicket. Paint stems to leaves.

6. Load #12 flat with Thicket and Sunflower. Paint leaves and stems for Queen Anne’s Lace. See Flower & Leaf Worksheet #2.

7. Load scruffy brush with Wicker White and a touch of Sunflower. Pounce Queen Anne’s Lace. See Flower & Leaf Worksheet #2.

8. Load #12 flat with Berry Wine and Wicker White. Paint pink daises. See Flower & Leaf Worksheet #1.

Butterflies:

1. Load #12 flat with Gray Plum and Wicker White. Paint wings.

2. Load #2 script liner with inky Licorice. Paint body and antennas.

Frog:

1. Load ¾” flat with Fresh Foliage, Thicket, and a touch of School Bus Yellow. Paint body of frog.

2. Add spots to frog’s body.

3. Paint eye and add details. Allow to dry.

Finish:

Apply two to three coats of sealer.
