- Clean glass vase thoroughly with glass cleaner before starting.
- Tear tissue paper into strips 1/2" to 3/4" wide.
- One by one, lay each strip of tissue on wax paper and brush a coat of
Mod Podge on it, covering it completely. An even but light coat is best. Apply the strip vertically to the vase, starting at the top, and making sure the opposite end wraps slightly over the bottom of the vase. Smooth the tissue carefully to ensure complete contact with the glass. - Choose a different colored strip and apply to vase parallel to first strip, with a slight space between them at the widest part of the vase, and
overlapping slightly where it narrows. Continue around the vase, alternating colors of tissue. - Tear the remaining tissue strips into 2" or 3" lengths and apply horizontally around the vase, overlapping ends and leaving a gap between the colors. Let dry.
- Cut eggs out of the paper and use the Mod Podge to apply them to the
vase, in a random manner, overlapping a few if you like. Smooth to remove air bubbles and ensure complete contact with the vase. - Use a 1/2" wide or smaller brush to apply Sparkle Mod Podge to the
eggs and tissue strips, leaving the glass spaces clear.
