519 - FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Hydrangea, 2 oz.
660 - FolkArt ® Metallics - Pure Gold, 2 oz.
679 - FolkArt ® Artists Pigments™ - Turner's Yellow, 2 oz.
901 - FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Wicker White, 2 oz.
924 - FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Thicket, 2 oz.
945 - FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Maple Syrup, 2 oz.
954 - FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Fresh Foliage, 2 oz.



1. Use 3/4" flat brush to basecoat entire box Burnt Umber. Let dry.
2. Paint edge with Metallic Pure Gold.
3. Double load #12 with Thicket and Fresh Foliage. Paint large leaves on lid along with some of the wider scrollwork.
4. Double load #12 with Maple Syrup and Wicker White. Paint bird using a lighter mixture for the body and darker mix for wings. Paint beak Turner's Yellow and paint eye/beak details with Burnt Umber.
5. Double load #6 flat with Fresh Foliage and Thicket. Paint smaller leaves.
6. Double load #12 with Wicker White and Turner's Yellow. Paint flower blossoms along greenery clusters.
7. Dot flower centers with Burnt Umber and Turner’s Yellow using brush handle to apply paint.
8. Use Script Liner to paint Hydrangea scrollwork and leaf details. Add Hydrangea dot clusters with handle of brushes.
9. For floral spray on front of box: double load #12 with Fresh Foliage and Thicket. Paint long basic leaf and larger scrolls. Load #6 flat brush with same colors and paint smaller leaves, scrollwork, and stems to bell flowers.
10. Load #12 with Hydrangea and Wicker White. Paint blue bell-flowers.
11. Load #12 with Turner's Yellow and Wicker White and paint white flowers. Dot centers with Burnt 10. Umber and Turner's Yellow using handle to apply paint.
12. Add Hydrangea blue dots as shown using large brush handle to apply. Paint Hydrangea scrollwork with Script Liner brush.
