 1. Using shop rag, apply Oak stain to plank, polishing off as you go. 2. Sketch as many overlapping leaves on plaque as desired. 3. Paint each a different fall color. Apply multiple coats letting dry in between. 4. Using tip of glue bottle, letter “Celebrate Fall”. Sprinkle orange glitter onto wet glue. 5. Let sit undisturbed for at least 3 hours. Shake off glitter. 6. Cut 6 strands of Jute cord , 18” long. Tie not in one end, divide into 3 groups of 2 strands. 7. Braid jute, ties knot in other end, cut excess cord, glue onto sides of plank. 8. Note: chalkboard paint should cure for 48 hours before using. |
