Prepare Surfaces
1) Base paint basket with White. Let dry.2) Paint trim on basket with Pinwheel Blue. Let dry.
3) Wash and dry tablecloth and napkins to remove sizing. Press smooth.
Stencil
1) Stencil a border on the napkins and tablecloth, using the “Checkerboard” stencil edge to create the solid band and the checkerboard motifs inside the band. Let dry.
2) Stencil dragonflies on tablecloth, napkins, baskets, plates, and goblets with Black and Pinwheel Blue. Use photo as a guide for placement. Be sure to place stencil motif more than 1” below the top rims of goblets. Let dry.
3) Stencil ladybugs on tablecloth, napkins, baskets, plates, and goblets with Black and Dandelion Yellow. Use photo as a guide for placement. Be sure to place stencil motif more than 1” below the top rims of goblets. Let dry.
4) Stencil snails around bottom of picnic basket with Mocha and Black. Let dry.
Finish
1) Heat set stenciled designs on tablecloth and napkins by pressing with a dry iron. Use a pressing cloth to cover the stenciling as you press.
To Use: Don’t place food on stenciled plates. Use plates only with a clear glass plate as a liner. Hand wash plates and goblets.
