Easter Chick

Craft glue
12" Yellow chenille stick
5-mm Black pre-made pom-poms (2)
Fuzzy yellow yarn
Small piece of gold felt
Ruler or Measuring tape


Review Doodle-Loom how-to package instructions before beginning this project.

  1. Measure 10 yards of yarn; make 4 “medium” sized pom-pons. Tie 4 pom-pons together secured with a tight knot to form chick body.
  2. Measure 3 yards of yarn; make 2 “small” sized pom-pons. Tie 2 pom-pons together secured with a tight knot to form chick head.
  3. Cut a 5” chenille stick Bend in half; push pointed end through chick body for legs. Cut two 1” pieces of chenille stick; bend around bottom of leg for feet (refer to photo for placement).
  4. Attach the chick head to top of chick body (refer to photo for placement).
  5. Cut a ¼” square of felt. Add glue to one corner; position on head and press to secure (refer to photo for placement).
  6. Glue black pom-poms on either side of chick beak for eyes (refer to photo for placement).
