Snowman & Candies Cookie Tin

- Before painting, clean surface with rubbing alcohol and cloth.
- Practice your One Stroke technique. Refer to worksheet in book 9783 A Season of Glass for detailed loading and stroke work instructions.
- Snow & Snowman. Use Wicker White with 3/4" Scruffy, pounce along bottom of cookie tin lid, add a touch of Hydrangea to outer edge of one corner; pounce snowmen, start with body then head. Use Wicker White with #2 Script Liner; paint criss-cross lines then dot at ends to form snowflakes, place randomly. Let dry.
- Scarf & Earmuffs: Use Engine Red with #6 Flat; paint scarf. Use Wicker White, Fresh Foliage & Hunter Green with #2 Script Liner; alternate colors to paint stripes and fringe. Use Fresh Foliage & touch of Hunter Green with 1/4" Scruffy; pounce earmuff, load #2 Script Liner to paint strap.
- Snowman Face & Arms: Use Wicker White and a touch of Engine Red wuth 1/4" Scruffy; pounce cheeks. Use Pure Orange and side load touch of Engine Red with #2 Flat; paint nose. Use Burnt Umber thinned with Clear Medium; load #2 Script Liner; add details to face. Pick up a touch of Wicker White; paint arms.
- Buttons and Stitches: Dip handle end of #2 Script Liner into Engine Red and Fresh Foliage; add buttons. Load #2 Script Liner with Wicker White. Add Highlights.
- Candy, Pine & Holly Border: Following colors, strokes and instructions on worksheet, randomly paint candies, pine and holly with berries around cookie tin as a decorative border. Let dry.
- Finishing: Allow paint to air cure for 21 days prior to hand washing. Note: This project is not dishwasher safer. Hand wash only.
