Cathie and Steve

Bringing a fresh approach to creative living with "outside the box" ideas for crafts and home décor, d.i.y. gurus Cathie Filian and Steve Piacenza are Plaid's spokespersons. They both grew up in the Midwest and have been getting crafty since they can remember. Their approach is easy: try something new everyday and get creative with what you have. Cathie and Steve's latest activities include creating Plaid's Hot Glue Gun Helpers and a series of how-to webisodes on Plaid Craft TV. The Emmy-nominated duo has created, produced and co-hosted the popular lifestyle shows, Creative Juice and Witch Crafts on HGTV and DIY Network. They've also written several books, a syndicated newspaper column and lifestyle blog, and regularly contribute to popular lifestyle magazines.
