Butterflies and Flowers Frames

I’m the proud mother of three wonderful children and a silly and cute grandson named Sammy. I’ve been a designer and crafter with Plaid for 15 years. My love of crafting took off when I was 14 and won a “Best in Show” ribbon at the Orange County Fair for one of my oil paintings. Since that time, I’ve been crafting up a storm! I love Mod Podge and everything it can do - there is hardly a project out there that doesn’t deserve a little Mod Podge. I hope to pass my knowledge onto you and wish you much success in your decoupaging endeavors.

PLAID Supplies
  • FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Magenta, 2 oz.
  • FolkArt ® Artists Pigments™ - Yellow Citron, 2 oz.
  • FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Wicker White, 2 oz.

Other Supplies
Butterfly and flower wood embellishments
3 - 4"x4" wood frames
Jute
Eye hooks
White craft glue

Instructions

  1. Paint frames Wicker White.
  2. Dry brush each frame a bright color from the assortment above. Let dry.
  3. Attach all three frames together using the eye hooks and jute.
  4. Attach butterflies and flowers to frames using white craft glue.
